The University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors turned in a dominant performance against the UPC Fighting Maroons, cruising to a 4–0 victory in the CESAFI Men’s Football competition on Sunday, September 27, at the Abellana Sports Complex.
USC wasted little time establishing control, taking a 1–0 lead in the first half before turning up the pressure after the break. The Warriors added three more goals in the second half to complete a convincing shutout victory.
The Warriors' attacking pressure was evident throughout the match. USC registered 24 shots, with 16 finding the target, while also earning seven corners. Their defensive effort kept UPC scoreless for the entire 90-minute contest.
Ludwig Ryan Badayos, Azeli Gaspe, John Cyril Sinoy, and Renzo Angelo Enriquez each found the scoresheet for USC, with the four goals spread across the match as the Warriors steadily pulled away from the Fighting Maroons.
